"I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart;

I will recount all of Your wonderful deeds."

Psalm 9:1

 Monday, February 2

Today, let's use our pastor's own words, along with Luke 1:46, to pray for him and Bethany this week: that their souls " would magnify the Lord and their spirits rejoice in Him...that they would see more of Him, having their awareness of Him increase and fill every word of their speech and permeate every fiber of their hearts."

Mozambique:  Pray for those who rejected Islam and turned to Christ after witnessing Islamist atrocities, that they would "taste and see that the LORD is good and blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him. Pray that the angel of the LORD would encamp around them and deliver them." (Psalm 34:8, 7)

"Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." Psalm 34:12-14

Let's pray for our country today that Jesus, the Light of the World, would shine brightly into  hearts and minds, dispelling the spiritual darkness. Pray He would extend His right hand of power and majesty and shatter the work of the enemy in our land, setting captives free and opening eyes to see His glory! Pray for peace where there is turmoil, and righteousness where evil is prevailing.

Pray for William & Alicia McCord

1 YR: Genesis 37, Mark 7, Job 3, Romans 7

2 YR: Genesis 29:1-30, Luke 2:8-20

Thursday, February 5

North Korea: Eun-Yeong and Cheol-Ho are a young couple who fled North Korea and were hiding in a forest when they discovered the love of God through an evangelist named Cho. Then they did the unthinkable and went back to reach their friends and relatives with the Gospel. They have recently sent a coded message saying that there are now three others who have come to Christ! Pray Psalm 32:7 & 8 over them: "Please be their hiding place; protect them from trouble and surround them with songs of deliverance. Instruct them, Lord, and teach them in the way they should go; counsel them and watch over them in Jesus' name."

Pray for Mark & Carol McMullen

1 YR: Genesis 38, Mark 8, Job 4, Romans 8

2 YR: Genesis 29:31-30:24

Friday, February 6
