Who is like You, LORD God Almighty?
You, LORD, are mighty, and
Your faithfulness surrounds You." Psalm 89:5, 6

Let's pray for our pastor this week to practice servant leadership, edifying the congregation with wisdom and serving with God's agape love, being "completely humble and gentle; patient, bearing with others in love, serving wholeheartedly, as unto the Lord, not men, knowing that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does..." (Ephesians 4:2, 6:7)
Pray for Janis Johnson

Pray for believers in Afghanistan today who endure under brutal Taliban rule. Pray for Aisha, and others like her, who met Jesus in a dream and left Islam to follow Him. Samira, another Afghan believer, says "Even if we can't go to church, we pray in our hearts and rooms." She also asks us to pray for physical safety, that she and other believers may not be discovered, for faith to stay strong, for access to the Bible, and for more people to be baptized and become disciples.

2 YR: Genesis 24:1-28

As we pray for the lost around us today, let's pray that we will be salt and light, bringing the sweet fragrance to Jesus to all we encounter. Pray that God would reveal Himself to those who are not asking for Him or seeking Him (Isaiah 65:1). Pray that God will use us as His ambassadors to lead others into a right relationship with Him.
