Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased.

Matthew 11:29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Pray for our pastor and his wife today that they will find rest for their souls as they take Jesus' yoke and learn from Him. Pray they will experience His gentle, humble heart and become completely humble and gentle themselves, bearing with others in love. (Ephesians 4:2)

Pray for Steven & Kristin Bateman, Nicolas and Jaxon

2 Chronicles 26, Revelation 13, Zechariah 9, John 12

Tuesday, December 23

Pray for protection for the persecuted church around the world. Christmas is often a time of increased attacks for churches who risk so much to gather and celebrate their Savior's birth.  Pray Psalm 29:11 for them: "May the LORD give you strength. May He bless you with His peace!"

Pray for Bruce & Lisa Boe

2 Chronicles 27-28, Revelation 14, Zechariah 10, John 13

Wednesday, December 24

"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

Pray that we as believers will act and speak in such a way to glorify our Father in heaven especially this Christmas season. Pray that our witness to our families, friends, and strangers would shine the light towards our wonderful heavenly Father, His Son, and His Spirit.

Pray for Curtis and Robin Boulton

2 Chronicles 29, Revelation 15, Zechariah 11, John 1

Thursday, Christmas Day

"I have seen You in Your sanctuary and gazed upon Your power and glory. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise You!. I will praise You as long as I live, lifting up my hands to You in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise You with songs of joy. I lie awake thinking of You, meditating on You through the night." Psalm 63:1-6

The holidays can be very hard on those who are alone for one reason or another. Let's remember those we know who fall into that category. Pray that they will receive the wonderful love of the Father that caused Him to send His Son for a lost world. Pray that they will experience the closeness of Jesus in a marvelous, tangible way. Ask God to use you to spread His love to the lonely.

Pray for Claudia Box

2 Chronicles 30, Revelation 16, Zechariah 12:1-13:1, John 15

Laos: Pray for Chan, a widow woman who came to Christ when she received prayer for healing of liver cancer. Her four children and two grandchildren also came to faith in Christ although Chan was not healed. These dear ones continue to be faithful to attend church and grow in their faith, but are being threatened by other family members and villagers who want to expel them from the community even though Chan is in the latter stages of cancer. Please pray for this precious family.

"I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD." Psalm 27:13, 14

Pray for Mitch & Julie Bulawsky

2 Chronicles 31, Revelation 17, Zechariah 13:2-9, John 16

Saturday, December 27

"One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple." Psalm 27:4

Let's pray for our congregation today that those who have been unable to attend church services will be able to return soon. Pray for protection from Satan's attempts to keep them away. Pray that the Holy Spirit would be free to work in and through us for God's purposes. Pray that we would be an encouraging, loving, church that draws souls to Him.

Pray for Steve & Freda Bybee
