Monday, August 10
Pray for Pastor Sam and Bethany from Philippians 1:9, 11 : "May your love abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God."

Tuesday, August 11
"As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever." Psalm 125:2
Israel: Right now nearly one in three Israelis is struggling with severe trauma, anxiety, and depression. The majority of Israeli society is in a state of chronic "survival mode". The Bible asks in Proverbs 18:14, "The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit?" Let's pray that this brokenness will cause an openness to Jesus the Messiah, and that the Gospel will be winsomely shared with all who have ears to hear in Israel.

Samuel Mbaye, a 35-year-old security guard in Chad, uses his MP3 player and audio Bible to share God's Word with neighbors and coworkers. Ask the Holy Spirit to multiply the impact of MP3 players and audio Bibles in restricted nations like Chad. Pray also for the believers to have courage, protection, and a continual passion to spread the Gospel and many opportunities in which to do so.
