Monday, March 16
'Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29 Pray for Pastor Sam as he labors and is heavy laden with the burdens of ministry, that he will find rest for his soul in the presence of Jesus. And as he learns from the One who is truly gentle and lowly in heart, may these characteristics become more and more his too, as is his heart's desire.

Sudan: Pray for the church in Sudan and wisdom for her leaders. Even if the opposite sides of their Civil War come to a peaceful resolution, neither are favorable towards Christians.Pray that our brothers and sisters there would be helped to live as salt and light embodying the peace of Jesus to all they encounter.

Thursday, March 19
Iran- Pray for God's will and His mercy over the millions of people caught up in the current conflict. Pray for a powerful movement of God's Spirit among Iran's people and its leaders. Pray that righteous leaders would be allowed to replace those now leading. Pray for protection over our troops and that God will overcome evil with His justice and truth.
"Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is with those who uphold my life. He will repay my enemies for their evil. Cut them off in Your truth." Psalm 54:4-5

Friday, March 20
Let's pray from Philippians ch.2 for each other, that "each of us will look not only to our own interests, but also to the interests of others, doing nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility considering others better than ourselves." May the members of our church be known for such characteristics as these as we follow Jesus, our example.

Saturday, March 21
China: Youth under 18 are forbidden from attending church or religious gatherings. Pray for young believers and their parents that God would be working to raise up a new generation of Chinese Christians who follow Jesus with passionate devotion.
