PRAYER FORCE

"I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart;

I will recount all of Your wonderful deeds.

I will be glad and exult in You

I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High."

Psalm 9:1-2

Monday, January 12

Pray for Pastor Sam, Evelyn and Joe as they continue to minister in Japan that they will be blessings to all they encounter and would accomplish all the LORD would have them to do. Let's pray also for special strength, wisdom, protection, and provision for their wives and children while their men are away.

"How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You, which You bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in You." Psalm 31:19

Pray for Paul & Katie Dupras

Genesis 10:21-30, 1 Chronicles 1:8-23, John 1:1-18, Luke 1:1-4

Iran:  Pray as mass arrests increase throughout the country,  that the gospel would spread despite these setbacks. Pray particularly for 43-year-old Aida Najaflou who faces multiple charges, for praying, performing baptisms, and sharing Christian content online. Pray for these prisoners and their families that Jesus' love would shine even in these dark places.

"But I trust in You, O LORD; I say, "You are my God." My times are in Your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me." Psalm 31:14, 15

Pray for Ruben & Stephanie Duron

Genesis 10:31-11:26, Matthew 1:1-17

Wednesday, January 14

"O LORD, if You heal me, I will be truly healed; if You save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for You alone!" Jeremiah 17:14

Let us bring to mind those we know who need healing today and lay them before the Great Physician, remembering that He looked with compassion upon the crowds and healed them of all their diseases and sicknesses. (Matthew  9:35, 36)

"Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to You while You may be found; surely when the waters rise, they will not reach him." Psalm 32:6

Pray for Kay Faughn

Genesis 11:27-12:20, 1 Chronicles 1:24-27, Luke 3:23-38

Thursday, January 15

China:  Pray with a house church in Central China to respond to ongoing police surveillance with wisdom and strength. Pray for protection for them all those navigating continued crackdowns.

"You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah." Psalm 32:7

Pray for Joseph & Kiersten Fitzgerald, Ellis, June and Emet

Genesis 13:1-14,16

Friday, January 16

Let's pray for those in our congregation who are raising children, or influencing them in any way - that they will take Deuteronomy 6:6 & 7 to heart this year and live them out in their homes: " And these words which I am commanding you this day, shall be first in your own mind and heart; you shall whet them and sharpen them, so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the minds and hearts of your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up." (Amplified version)

Pray for Brent & Jennifer Gill

Genesis 14:17-15:21

Saturday, January 17

Venezuela:  A Christian contact in Venezuela shares that the people long for freedom in their nation and have a deep spiritual hunger. Pray for leaders with wisdom and integrity, for protection over the citizens during this time of instability, for the peace of Christ to envelope the populace and for their spiritual hunger to be met abundantly by the Gospel of Jesus. Pray that the church will grow exponentially and serve faithfully.

"Love the LORD, all His saints! The LORD preserves the faithful, but the proud He pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD." Psalm 31:29,30

Pray for Tobias (Toby) Glenos

Genesis 16:1-17:27, Luke 1:5-25
