Monday, January 19
"...the LORD's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in Him. Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!" Psalm 32:10b Praise God for bringing Pastor Sam, Joe and Evelyn home safely from Japan and pray that God will cause the seeds sown there to sprout, grow, and flourish.
Let's pray also Titus 2:1, 7 for Pastor Sam this week that "in his teaching he will show integrity and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, and that he will continue to teach what is in accord with sound doctrine."

Tuesday, January 20
Somalia is one of the most dangerous places to follow Jesus. Islamic extremist group Al-Shabab targets anyone they suspect to be Christian. Pray that the small number of believers would find shelter and safety. Pray that God's Spirit would minister to the traumatized believers and bring healing to their hearts, minds, and spirits.
"But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine" Psalm 33:18,19

Wednesday, January 21
Acts 16:14 "Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us...The LORD opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul." LORD GOD, today we pray for our lost loved ones, asking that You would give them ears to hear Your words and hearts that heed the things Your people speak in their hearing. We ask for You to plow up the soil of their hearts so that the Word will fall into fertile soil.

Thursday, January 22
Eritrea is ruled by a brutal dictator. Pray that President Afwerki's heart would be turned from oppression and towards the love of Jesus. Pray for the many pastors and Christians who are stuck in the country's notorious prison system. Pray for them to be protected and supernaturally encouraged by the Holy Spirit. "We wait in hope for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD; even as we put our hope in You." Psalm 33:20-22

Friday, January 23
Let's pray for ourselves and each other today according to Psalm 90:12 and Colossians 4:5 that God will teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Pray that we will walk in wisdom towards those who are outside the faith, redeeming the time.

Saturday, January 24
Many are becoming believers in hostile countries through online ministries. Pray they would be given the blessing of another Christian to fellowship with. Pray also that the LORD will bless every secret message, every whispered verse, every digital encounter that carries Truth. Pray that seekers scrolling in the darkness will encounter the light of Christ.
