PRAYER FORCE

"To God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty,

dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen."    Jude 25

Monday, September 2

Pray for Pastor Sam & Bethany today, that this would be their and their children's testimony: "How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Psalm 119:103-105

Pray for Mitch & Julie Bulawsky and Kevin

1 Samuel 26, 1 Corinthians 7, Ezekiel 5, Psalm 42-43

Tuesday, September 3

"The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I have not strayed from Your precepts. Your testimonies I have taken as my heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart. I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes forever; to the very end." Psalm 119:110-112

Egypt:  Pray for Raef and his wife Sawsan who were forced to flee their village when Raef's father, a Muslim imam, discovered the couple follows Jesus. They were also forced to leave the house church they love. Pray they would find a new community of loving believers. Pray they would not stray from God's precepts, but that His word would be the rejoicing of their hearts. Pray their hearts would be steadfastly inclined to obey His word forever.

Pray for Steve & Freda Bybee

1 Samuel 27, 1 Corinthians 8, Ezekiel 6, Psalm 44

Wednesday, September 4

"My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity." Proverbs 3:1

Let's pray for our young people today that they will 'walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. Pray that God will work in them to will and to act according to His good purpose. Pray that He would open their eyes to see wonderful things in His word." Proverbs 2:20, Philippians 2:13, Psalm 119:18

Pray for Maria Capuchino, daughter Carrie, grandsons Sawyer and Corbin

1 Samuel 28, 1 Corinthians 9, Ezekiel 7, Psalm 45

Thursday, September 5

Mexico:  Organized crime is taking over the lives of people living in Chiapas. It's an important trafficking corridor for drug cartels who war with each other over the territory. They have created an environment rife with kidnappings, massacres, forced displacements, etc. Pray that Christian relief packages will be safely delivered. Pray the believers there would be gifted with supernatural spiritual strength and protection. Pray that amidst this evil the gospel would become a purifying fire everywhere in the region.

"You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. Depart from me, you evildoers, for I will keep the commandments of my God! Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; and do not let me be ashamed of my hope. Hold me up, and I shall be safe, and I shall observe Your statutes continually." Psalm 119:114-117

Pray for Teresa Caruthers

1 Samuel 29-30, 1 Corinthians 10, Ezekiel 8, Psalm 46-47

Friday, September 6

Pray for all our brothers and sisters attending public schools or employed by them this year. Pray that their minds would be transformed by the word of God making them salt and light wherever they are, in whatever circumstances:

"Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul keeps them. The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. ...Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me....I have more understanding than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation." Psalm 119:129, 30, 133, 9

Pray for Daniel & Ceanna Ching, Viva, Zayda and Iris

1 Samuel 31, 1 Corinthians 11, Ezekiel 9, Psalm 48

Saturday, September 7

"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan...By justice a king gives a country stability, but one who is greedy for bribes tears it down." Proverbs 29:2, 4

Lord, we pray for America today. We ask that You would put righteous rulers in leadership positions. We ask that You would either transform or remove the wicked. We ask You for leaders who love justice and righteousness like You do.

Pray for Nathan & Ellen Ching, Matthew and Aunt Carol
