Monday, March 2
Let's pray for Pastor Sam using 2 Thessalonians 1:11, 12, " We constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ." Pray also that his time at a pastor's conference this week would be blessed and used by God in his life and the lives of the other pastors.

Tuesday, March 3
Somalia: Aweis remembers his father's cold words, "If you become a Christian, I will be the one to kill you." Despite his father's words, Aweis chose to follow Jesus for seven years alone, not aware of any other believers. He later found a believing friend who helped him grow in the Lord, but was subsequently murdered for his faith. Today Aweis is a Bible translator despite the dangers. Let's pray Deuteronomy 33:12 for him and other believers in Somalia: "He is beloved of God and lives in safety beside Him. God surrounds him with His loving care, and preserves him from every harm."

Wednesday, March 4
"A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient." 2 Timothy 2:24
Lord, we pray today for our families, our children, ourselves, that we would learn the great strength there is in gentleness. Let us and our children be people who want to heal the broken, comfort the sorrowing, and encourage the downhearted. Help us to be people who listen with compassion.
"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy." James 3:17

Thursday, March 5
Ayaan and his brother discovered a Christian radio station and began listening regularly. Before long, they gave their lives to Christ and were baptized. Now as an adult Ayaan and his wife are working to translate the New Testament into the Ebi language. Ayaan says, "The Word Of God should be treated with sincerity and care. It should be error-free, clear and natural. We must ensure quality."They are working in a part of the world rife with violence. Your prayers are an encouragement and a blessing to them and other secret Bible translators.

Friday, March 6
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1
Pray for our Christian law enforcement officers and our soldiers that God would give them success in every righteous endeavor, that they would be sheltered and surrounded by protecting angels, that they would be used mightily of God in their day to day encounters.

Saturday, March 7
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.' The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress." Psalm 46:10,11
India- Pray for Kaveri who was arrested for leading a women's prayer group in her home. Her son also was arrested for sharing the gospel. Ask God to let them know He's ever close. Pray that other believers would be spared violence and that the Holy Spirit would comfort those who have suffered attacks.
