Monday, September 15
"Therefore give Your servant a discerning heart to judge Your people, that I might discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?" 1 Kings 3:9
Let us praise God today for our pastor's leadership and pray that he will continue to have a discerning heart to make godly decisions. Pray that he will be constantly being transformed into the image of Christ. (Romans 8:29)

Tuesday, September 16
"Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for Your law is my delight."
A North Korean field worker in China risks her life to work with North Korean women trafficked to China. She asks for prayer for protection from spies and the Chinese government and that the women would receive Jesus as He knocks on the door of their hearts. Pray that God's tender mercies would cover her and those she ministers to.

Father, we pray for our country today thanking You for the multitudes of blessings You have poured out upon us and asking that You would grant that the influence of Christ would increase greatly across this nation. We ask that You would help us, Your people, to act and speak more and more like Your beloved Son.

Recently, a few hundred North Koreans--mostly women--were sent back from China and imprisoned in North Korea. Please pray that God would show Himself to them.

Bangladesh: Pray with Kulsum for strength and resilience. Her husband is in hiding and the family is under immense pressure to renounce their faith. Local Islamic leaders are trying to ban their children from attending school. Pray that God's word would be their delight and sustenance. Pray that the light of Jesus would shine from them to those around them.
