Monday, March 30
"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever..." Psalm 138:7, 8
Praise God for His faithfulness and mercy upon our pastor. Praise Him for His promise that He will perfect that which concerns Pastor Sam and that we can trust His mercy which endures forever! Pray for physical and spiritual strength and health for him and his family.

Philippines: Pray for 15 year old Jasmine and the Bible study group she leads. Pray that they will grow in faith and encourage each other. Pray also that their families would be open to church and drawn to Jesus. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you....Steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD." Psalm 32:8, 10

Wednesday, April 1
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Lord, today we pray for our children and young people with grateful hearts, thanking You for giving them to us. We ask that you would help them develop grateful hearts towards You and others. Help them, in this self-absorbed generation, to give You joyful thanks. We pray also that praying as they go about their days would become as natural to them as breathing.

"Steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD. Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!" Psalm 32:10, 11
Pray for Naira from Central Asia who had a police complaint filed against her when she shared with co-workers that she had become a Christian. She says this persecution has strengthened her faith. Let us pray for endurance for her and others like her as they continue to live and work with people hostile to their faith.

Let's pray for those we love who are not following Jesus, that these verses from Psalm 40:2, 3 would become their testimony: "He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth--praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD."

Saturday, April 4
Please pray for Ariana in Afghanistan. These were her brother's words when he heard she'd chosen Jesus: "If you are under pressure, I will come and save you. But if you betrayed your religion, I will come and kill you. I don't care if I spend the rest of my life in prison." Ariana, her new husband, and his family escaped to another country where they shared with her that they were secret believers. These dear believers could be deported at any time to Afghanistan where they would be executed for their faith.
"Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy." Psalm 61:1-3
