Monday, September 14
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
Pray for Pastor Sam and his family that each one will truly 'find rest for their souls' while on vacation this week. Pray that this time away would also be especially uniting for them as a family.

Iran: Pray for 20 year old Saterah who leads discipleship groups in Iran and is asking that we pray that God will bring a partner who shares his vision and calling. He's also asking for prayer especially for the young people who are seeking purpose and direction to find God in Iran.

Let's pray for our young people that God will bring godly friends and encouragers into their lives to strengthen them in their resolve to follow Jesus and steer them clear of bad influences.

Nigeria: Pray urgently with Nigerian believers still reeling from the abductions of 40-plus children. Pray that God would protect and care miraculously for these vulnerable ones in captivity and that their faith would be strengthened in the midst of this awful storm.
"On the day I called, You answered me; my strength of soul You increased. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand delivers me." Psalm 138:3, 7

Friday, September 18
Let us pray today for those who need healing whether it be physical or of the soul: Lord, You are the Great Physician who mends and restores broken bodies, minds, emotions, and relationships. In Jesus' precious name, heal, comfort, and restore the parts of us who need this so badly. We put ourselves and our loved ones into Your tender, powerful, and capable hands to heal what we cannot.

Laos: Pray for 40 young believers still traumatized after their Christian camp was interrupted by authorities. Pray that God would transform fear into trust and resilience.
