PRAYER FORCE

"You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,

slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness."

                                                                         Psalm 86:15

Monday, December 1

"Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:30, 31

Let's pray for Pastor Sam and Bethany today that they will be renewed, refreshed and strengthened in their love by their time away together. Pray also that the LORD will keep them from all harm and watch over them in their travels.

Pray for John & Gail Lawson

1 Chronicles 29, 2 Peter 3, Micah 6, Luke 15

Tuesday, December 2

"The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul....The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes." Psalm 19:7a and 8b

Mexico:  The Arik people live in the jungles of Mexico and worship nature. Years ago an Arik mother, who was in the midst of a painful miscarriage, received prayer from a Christian villager. She received Jesus as her Lord and was healed, going on to deliver a healthy baby boy. This baby boy has now grown up and is a Bible translator for his people. Praise God for His working in this family and pray that the Word of God will be met with fertile soil in the hearts of these people.

Pray for Marcie Schweikert

2 Chronicles 1, 1 John 1, Micah 7, Luke 16

Wednesday, December 3

Let's pray for our children from Psalm 119 (101, 124, 128, 133) that God would "hold back their feet from every evil way in order to keep His word. Pray that He would deal with them according to His steadfast love and help them hate every false way. Pray that He will keep their steps steady and let no iniquity have dominion over them."

Pray for Sarah Sims

2 Chronicles 2, 1 John 2, Nahum 1, Luke 17

Thursday, December 4

Pakistan: Christian parents are being forced into hiding in order to practice their faith and to protect their children. Christians are a heavily persecuted minority in this country and are relentlessly harassed. Pray Psalm 20:1 for them "May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May He send you help from His sanctuary and grant you support from Zion."

Pray for Lt. Colonel David Boettcher USSF

2 Chronicles 3-4, 1 John 3, Nahum 2, Luke 18

Friday, December 5

"Surely You have granted him eternal blessings and made him glad with the joy of Your presence." Psalm 21:6

Let's pray the above verse will become reality for our lost loved ones who are 'darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart."(Ephesians 4:18). May the LORD give us the desires of our hearts in this matter. (Psalm 20:4)

Pray for Chief Petty Officer Jeffrey Polly

2 Chronicles 5:1-6:11, 1 John 4, Nahum 3, Luke 19

Saturday, December 6

"We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests." Psalm 20:5

Bangladesh:  Pray for Fahed, who was fired from his job, beaten and forced from his home when he left Islam to follow Jesus and is now separated from his wife and son. Pray for this family to be comforted and soon reunited. Praise God for Christians who have supported them with emergency assistance and prayers.

Pray for Shawn and Karen Coleman and Calvary Chapel Bible College in Mexico
