Please prayerfully consider volunteering in our Awana Ministry. Help kids learn Bible verses right from their books (no need to be a scholar). Join our fabulous team!
Awana clubs start the 1st Tuesday in September at 6:30pm (6:00pm for 7-12th grades).
Awana is a world-wide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions for all children. As the global leader in child and youth discipleship, Awana gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background.

Awanas Clubs
Cubbies: 3-PreK (must be potty trained)
Sparks: K-2 grade
T&T: 3-6 grade
Trek: 7-8 grade
Journey: 9-12 grade
Trek & Journey meet at 6pm for their book and discussion time, then they learn leadership skills and service by helping the younger clubbers during games and book time. Journey clubbers are additionally stretched and grow as leaders by leading some of the large group time Bible lessons.
Meets every Tuesday during school season Sept-May (off on school holiday weeks) at Calvary Chapel, 6:30pm-8:00pm (7th-12th grades at 6pm). Please arrive 15 minutes early for check in. Please drop off and pick up promptly.
Kids should arrive:
- in uniform
- dressed for the weekly theme
- with their book & Bible
- prepared to recite a section (verse(s)) memorized from where they are in their Awana book).
They’ll receive Awana bucks for these things which they can use on Store Nights!
They’ll also receive awards for completing book sections at the end of the year Family Award night.
Kids must be in uniform to receive awards.
How to Register
Register at the door. Kids can join anytime throughout the year.

2 Children $25.00
3 Children $35.00
4 Children $45.00
Books & shirts/vests can be purchased after the entrance booklet is completed
Books - $10.00
Cubbies/Sparks Vest - $13.00
T&T Shirt - $18.00
Trek or Journey Shirt - $17.00
If you are unable to meet the full cost of registration and or books or shirts/vests due to financial hardship, please let the director know upon registration. Scholarships are available. No child will be turned away due to cost.
AWANA Camp - Awana clubbers who complete their book and are going into 5th grade up through the summer after high school are eligible for Awana Camp at High Sierra Scholarship Camp! We will host fundraisers in the spring to help all our eligible campers have funds for the cost of camp.
